in windows 7 discovered hit ctrl-alt-del , in task manager, pull performance monitor.  there useful tool showed internet connections (i use multiple ones) , speed connected at.  surprised find out lan card , antennas installed in laptop not giving me speed, external usb card installed , use simultaneously, giving me better speed.  in windows 10, how can find true connection speed?  have not found yet after searching.  little bar graph not enough. keep in mind link-speed access point.  hugely faster actual internet connection past point.  but, there network speed test inside app store (i think it's published microsoft), how that? on 10/16/17, system upgraded (it wasn't update) windows 10 v.1064 v.1073. 2 years ago system upgraded windows 7 windows 10. there differences between system originated windows 10 computer , 1 upgraded windows 10 windows platform still worked. co-mingling of operating systems. upgrade v.1703, that's not true, control panel opens , closes immediately. . i've looked @ microsoft community forums, ms kbs, other community forums, , oem support. go registry change value, stop windows file explorer task mgr. , restart it, run sfc /scannow, try dism commands under power shell, etc. nada. know computer windows 10 v.1064 machine upgrade v.1073 didn't affect operation of control panel. i'm ms phasing out control panel in favor of settings. settings doesn't same , has feel of needing know you're looking for  can find need know. maybe should happy defaults , not care laptop doesn't "act" way like. anyway, more suggest

i have older desktop system includes radeon 4670 display adapter.  system windows 7, updated windows 8 , later windows 10 upgrades became available.  have 2 monitors on system have been using in extended desktop mode past year. my wife noticed other morning text , icons appeared bigger had been used to, , noticed second monitor no longer extended clone of other desktop.  tried variety of things in display settings have detect , change options, appeared options had gone away. i took @ windows update , there creator's update available had not installed.  system set update automatically.  manually started install, seemed in loop of "downloading", "preparing", , "installing", never seemed complete.  more technical son found article windows update , found way download full update , make install. after installing still found impossible change display settings, still same.  attempting download updated display drivers

my dell computer, came pre-installed windows 10, stopped connecting secured network earlier week. had been using network last couple of months, , can still connect on phone.   on computer, error message after entered username , password on network's log in page (on chrome). network connection status shows open, not connected. turned off firewall. switched computer on , off. none worked. full error message got on chrome says: "your connection not private. attackers might trying steal information xxxx.com.au (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). net::err_cert_weak_signature_algorithm".   it seems windows on computer has been blocking access particular network. computer still gets connected wifi hotspot mobile phone. i talked microsoft technician , supervisor on phone hour, , not seem understand error message is, let alone how solve this, , denied support. still hopeful there expert out there knows how solve problem.

please assist me in getting blue ray / dvd /cd playing in esprimo q1500 pc son. the bd rom sony : optiarc bd rom bc-5600s flashed latest available drive sony v 1.03. the pc esprimo q1500 fujitsu. w10 home working time without problems , in latest version updated of today available. did not use media bd rom rather long time. original w7 home version worked without problem. now message "no disk" cd/dvd/blue ray disk. upon inserting disk drive turn / search bit , stops "no disk". using nero analysis tool data below  provided when version 1.01 in. have flashed firmware version 1.03  = latest available sony. same result / same picture below 1.01 firmware reads 1.03. hence known in pc otherwise nero not able generate output not "see" inserted disk. did use vlc, power dvd , windows players. same result "no disk" question still urgent.  is there ne
