issues in Windows 10 after deletting windows.old - Microsoft Community

deleted folders windows.old ( rest windows , users )
couldn't delete these folders using shift+del or trying clean pc using ccleaner
used iobit unlocker
since deleted folders desktop lost shortcut files , when search programme in search box can't find proggrame until go programme files , , can't open documents ,when clic on flie msg eror shows ( invalid value registry ) , itried wundows update , nothing shown
ps : ugraded windows 10 pro win 8.1 pro , i'm using windows 10 pro 1703

unfortunately mistake use iobit unlocker... , of other stuff well... ccleaner dangerous program can cause lot of damage if not used properly...

it has damaged installation badly need reset or reinstalled...

windows.old deleted using built in windows disk cleanup...

you can access right clicking on c:\ drive in pc , selecting properties...

after disk cleanup runs first time, button "system files" on lower left of window... scan again more options...

there nothing called windows.old in disk cleanup... identified "previous windows installations" , largest file on list...

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
