Internet slow after latest windows 10 upgrade - Microsoft Community

for last week or internet activity has been slow - pages slow load , audio streaming has slowed enough unusable. looking in 'windows settings' 'update , security section' see 'hp development company, l.p. - system - 9/23/2016 12:00:00 - 6.0.19.1' installed on 9/17/17 , pc installing 'feature update windows 10, version 1703' . there way can control how of available internet bandwidth allocated pc , pc sharing connection can have enough of bandwidth function?

what want accomplish can done setting bandwidth limit through group policy of pc. follow these steps configure it:

  1. open run dialog box pressing windows key + r.
  2. in run field, type in gpedit.msc , press enter.
  3. in local group policy editor, navigate computer configuration -> administrative -> network -> qos packet scheduler.
  4. in right pane, limit reservable bandwidth , double click it.
  5. make sure set enabled, adjust bandwidth limit according preference.
  6. once done, click apply, ok.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
