MemDiag apearing in system task tray after running it and rebooting - Microsoft Community

ran memdiag few days ago , came fine, upon rebooting noticed memdiag icon still in task tray , unable click or right click on it. i've checked in task scheduler , there no task boots memory diagnostic tool, , there no startup item in system startup list. can close task manager, each reboot appears. sfc /scannow shows there no integrity violations. question is, how stop memdiag appearing? i've tried

bcdedit /bootsequence {memdiag} /remove didn't work

***edit able fix issue running memory diagnostics again , cancelling it

i'm greg, volunteer installation specialist , 8 year windows mvp, here you.

run infection scans , check system file integrity steps 7 , 11 in checklist windows 10: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

tell if corrupted , fix it. steps sequenced in checklist if them have given windows thorough checkup.

hope helps. feel free ask questions , let know how goes. keep working until it's resolved.
