i fixed problem , thought i'd share others in case have same issue. after latest windows 10 update  ver: 10.0.15063, wifi not connect of available trusted networks. not issue prior update. initially, checked normal areas, such router (restarted it), forgot networks , re authenticated, etc still no resolution. i checked network connections , realised wifi adapter connected virtual bridge - had couple of vms setup , virtual bridge. resolve, :- 1. right click bridge , select properties 2. uncheck wifi box , close. the wifi adapter no longer connected bridge (which disappeared) , wifi working normal. somehow, windows 10 update had mixed adapter connections on update. hope helps - wouldn't want swapping out h/w fix this! enjoy! i'm having issue since doing update yesterday. has else had problem connecting suunto gps watch?  after latest update, moveslink2, program downloads data suunto ambit 3 peak gps watch surface pro 3 no longer works. when first plugged watch sp3's usb port after update, rather starting moveslink2 automatically, computer recognized watch "ambit" , did little (like plugging in new thumb drive first time) , nothing.  when try start moveslink2 manually, shows in taskbar few seconds, , shuts down on own.  tried uninstalling , reinstalling moveslink2, did not help.  when plug in watch now, connection sound, , charges watch, that's all.  unlike garmins, watch never appeared drive under computer.  still doesn't, can't copy files way. i'm resorting using old laptop has windows 7 download data watch.  have tip on how make moveslink2 work on computer?  i've reported problem through feedback hub, i'm not sure through can fix things. while i'm here, i'll repor

[moved from:  windows / windows 10 / desktop, start, & personalization / pc ]    depends on when branding appears. if 1st screen appears after switch on branding in bios, has nothing windows , particularly major manufacturers such hp , dell cannot turned off. other minor brands there may setting in bios similar "show post messages during startup" "show logo on boot (disabled)" will replace brand boot activity. not mean boots faster 1 replacing other. the alternative branding appears during windows load instead of default 4 pane microsoft logo spinning dots underneath. may part of factory load , clean install wouldn't it. have never seen anecdotally windows can pick logo uefi bios cannot changed. repeat have never seen example read asus system yet own asus motherboard doesn't it.

hello. need help. have desktop of spring year blue screen crashes when i'm performing work. it's using adobe premiere (almost always) adobe after effects (occasionally) adobe audition (rare). killing our small business actually. i'm putting in 14 hours day, 7 days week try , ahead never because i'm losing 4 hours day on average. i try use partners computer that's having negative impact on us, displacing doesn't put ahead. we're literally unable focus on sales replace our income lost through attrition. can't replace computer we've upgraded partner's , expected older model hold on bit. it hasn't given problems until past year , nothing has been added can think impact computer, of serious programs cloud based including yours, quickbooks, adobe. i appreciate can give. i'm adept @ finding way through computer can take direction if can help.  thanks. hi, trouble

i have dual boot setup on hp laptop windows 10 , ubuntu 16.04. when updated windows 10, had restart updates configured. when arrived @ grub2 menu after restart , selected windows boot option, got unexpected error " premature end of file /efi/microsoft/boot/bootmgfw.efi ". tried following commands : bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /fixboot bootrec /scanos bootrec /rebuildbcd after ran succesfuly, nothing changed. still same error. after running "bootrec /scanos" command, showed have 0 windows installations. after tried repairing windows error booting windows 10 media usb , took time not fix issue. in scenario, can still login ubuntu through grub bootloader menu cannot boot windows. tried booting directly windows selecting boot device initial system diagnostic screen got error "selected boot image did not authenticate". i stuck here , don't want clean install windows again. appreciate if can me!
