why laptop monitor remains black (no display) if press keys? happens after have left laptop on time sleeps, when need use again, display won't come back. it doesn't come back, when click background mouse, or touchpad? first time yesterday morn., couldn't wake laptop up. had hard shut down. then went , looked through power settings , found out hibernate enabled. don't use it, , had disabled, i'm not sure how got turned on. i'd heard problems hibernate caused, use sleep. may want check power settings. my surface working fine. left house take wife dinner. when returned tablet useless, windows must have auto updated while gone , it's stuck in eternal boot loop. the geek squad told me $100 fix. independent repair company quoted me $60. i'm not happy having pay repair caused manufacturer. see i'm not person dealing either. os win 10 version 1703 (os build 15063.540) a tower pc intel i7 7700k graphics card: nvidia msi gtx 1080ti - drivers updated monitor 1: 27" iiyama g-master ge2788hs - 1ms refresh monitor 2: 24" iiyama prolite e2407hds - 2ms refresh since 7 aug 2017 monitor 1 flashes on start up.   if left long enough out of range error. currently workaround sign win 10 - turn off monitor 1 - wait around 5 minutes until monitor 2 comes up.  switch monitor 1 on , okay. i have had discussions iiyama: 27" monitor new.   swapped out, still have same problem. they saying issue down windows drivers used on start up, caused windows update.   have queried them.   have looked on ms support site , while issue has come before posts relate win 7 , two/three years old. i have tried experimenting different cables - without success. one thing say:  seems using 2 monitors.   have experimented using 1 monitor - , both boot fine. any ideas someb

have sd card friend download sort of linux distro on raspberry pi, reason stopped accepting input usb devices. plugged computer, , selected , dragged recycle bin. next used poweriso extract disc image onto sd card, , once did that, plugged raspberry pi, , nothing happened. got 4 raspberrys , blank screen otherwise except cursor, (that couldn't type into!) decided delete , @ contents see if there communication between computer , sd card, , when deleted there e:\ directory, named boot. strangely enough, there directory f:\ blank , 4 gb in size, , called usb drive, made sense sd card because hooked computer via usb adapter, 4gb, while sd card 16gb, , have nothing else connected usb ports rather keyboard mouse, working fine. tried doing format on couple of times, first being quick format , other not being quick format. none of them worked, assumed if deleted on it, rid of e:\ drive, didn't. yeah, need buy whole new sd card or there can do? thanks!

the software hung @ startup turned on lenovo got sign in screen hung after , can not clear ctl alt del. nothing has battery not turn off @ switch   stays powered up remove power crd drain battery    no change trying @ place completly different network    and router hi artcorirossi, rob, volunteer , 10 time , dual award mvp specializing in windows troubleshooting , bluescreen analysis. hold power button until shuts down - 10 seconds or - restart after minute or so. try removing ac , remove battery. clean terminals on battery , computer pencil eraser if possible. ----- if computer still not boot way try : try running startup repair windows 10 boot disk or usb drive. work when running recovery environment not. can try option 5 here , run startup repair see if helps. need make bootable usb or dvd using media creation tool. how boot advanced startup options in windows 10 http:/

i'm having problem how internet functioning correctly on windows 10 desktop computer. download speed slow while upload speeds seems unaffected. problem physical ethernet link, , wireless seems working fine. speed test (ethernet): http://beta.speedtest.net/result/6438998402 i using cat 6 ethernet cord connect computer routers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b00wd017bg/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=utf8&psc=1. this started when moved houses week ago. in new house there 2 separate isps 2 separate routers. 1 comcast xfinity service, , other 1 our city internet, nextlite, uses optic fiber. of tests have been conducted while connected nextlight fiber internet, problem consistent while using either. on laptop if disable wireless , connect same cable using desktop, download speed supposed @ 400mbps. ethernet cable seems work fine. there number of other computers on router connected both via ethernet , wireless, router , isp not appear p
