we've got rather interesting situation here,  what have when try use microsoft remote desktop app connect our internal servers either our 2008r2 rds farm or administer 1 of other servers following error message.  couldn't connect. something went wrong when tried connect. if keeps happening, ask admin or tech support help. this occurs when connected internet via iphone hotspot , connected our internal domain via vpn. however if use old remote desktop program (mstsc.exe) can connect fine.  we use remote desktop app because of screen scaling ability when uses using surface can read what's on screen. if connect internet via normal wifi using same vpn connection works.  it's not factor of speed i've connected using wifi has 4 mbps connection, , failed using iphone hotspot 12mbps connection.  the surface windows 10 latest build ( september 2017) , remote desktop app version 10.1.997.0 has else come across , hav

i have latest version (continually updated) of windows 10 pro version 1703, os build 15063.726 32-bit. ever since november 16, 2017 update v1709 computer won't download pdf files ie11, firefox quantum 57.0 (64-bit). error message, "there problem acrobat/reader. if running, please exit , try again. (1014:1014)". printer drivers date, working properly, , following performed during v1709 update under print queues, microsoft print pdf: 11/16/2017 12:43:30 am; device migrated, device configured (printqueue.inf), device started. started acrobat/reader make sure running when tried again. still got same error message.
