Wrong password (language related) - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have set password vietnamese letter (i can type in vietnamese because use app). when log in, wrong pasword, coz typing languages shown in login screen english , german. can't log in anymore. 

is there ways can change language system without being logged in? or how can change passwort?? 

1) microsoft account? because can change password signing account in browser: https://account.microsoft.com/account?refd=www.google.com change password. restart pc , try again. 2) if it's local account or doesn't work, if don't have account sign in can try enabled hidden administrator account sign in it, leave password blank, change password in account. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2969-enable-disable-elevated-administrator-account-windows-10-a.html afterwards hide hidden admin account it's emergencies. 3) if fails you'll need reset windows 10 via whatever method required advanced startup options. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-windows-10-a.html easiest method on sign in page can choose power icon in bottom right corner, hold shift key while restart pc. choose troubleshoot , reset, save files if needed. hope helps. feel free ask questions , let know how goes. i'll keep working until resolved.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
