after last w10 update edge has stopped working. part of edge window frame opens, remains blank after 15 seconds closes.

how fix have no idea, anybody.

if you're facing issues using edge browser, can follow methods below resolve issue:

method 1: clear browsing data

  1. click more (...) on upper right corner , select settings.
  2. under clear browsing data, select choose clear.
  3. check boxes browsing history, cookies , saved website data, , cached data files , click clear.

method 2: run windows app troubleshooter

if you're having trouble windows apps edge browser, can run app troubleshooter resolve issue. refer article run app troubleshooter.

method 3: run system file checker tool

try running system file checker tool scan , repair corrupted , damaged system files. refer article know how run system file checker tool.

after doing these methods, try if can access edge.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
