after put in password cursor disappears , once in awhile it's there frozen. i have toshiba laptop. i working windows cannot on computer. i need it! please cannot afford purchase new computer. i have never had problem before.
make , model of computer?
have done far troubleshoot problem?
how long has been happening?
version of windows 10 installed: 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703?
version of windows did upgrade from?
suggest need update chipset drivers , bios.
recommend update critical ones: bios, chipset, display driver, network adapters.

log out , go sign in screen.
hold down shift key on keyboard while clicking power button on screen.
continue hold down shift key while clicking restart.
continue hold down shift key until advanced recovery options menu appears.
click troubleshoot
click advanced options
click startup settings
click restart
press (4) enable safe mode
wait while windows 10 starts in safe mode.
log in
press windows key + x
click device manager
expand mice , other pointing devices.
right click on mouse , click uninstall
press alt + f4
press windows key + x
press letter u
press letter r
restart in normal mode , see if mouse works.
