difference between network , homegroup?

hello, homegroup: computers on home network must belong workgroup, can belong homegroup. homegroup makes easy share pictures, music, videos, documents, , printers other people on home network. network: domain form of computer network in user accounts, computers, printers , other security principals, registered central database located on 1 or more clusters of central computers known domain controllers. hope answers query!
