Windows 10 user changes their AD domain password, and that breaks VPN - Microsoft Community

a customer using built-in vpn, configured sstp version, using windows 10 is  affected repeatable issue.

every time user changes domain password, , many organizations required change password frequently, vpn settings sstp connection corporate network changed use invalid settings.

i can't imagine why user changing domain password (while logged on account) has vpn connection changed, since repeatable , part of standard process re-setup vpn connection's settings.

after user changes domain password, if examine vpn connection's settings, security tab has radio button (by definition, 1 of 2 choices must made) shows no selection being made on screen.  normally, user must select "allow these protocols" option opposed "use extensible authentication protocol (eap)" selection.  choice required configuration work, "reset" screen showing neither selection has been made -- invalid selection user make, reset when change password.

i'd love know if new feature, appears part of windows 10 version 1703 fixed in version 1709 or subsequent patch/update.

thanks
