<p>hey everyone,</p><p>now question of mine involves connections, , hope gets answered unlike '<a href="https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/apps_windows_10-winapps-appscat_tools/vpns-are-not-working/d3fb2930-1783-4160-9412-443ec9f02597" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">vpns not working</a>' thread posted long time ago.</p><p>so have chromecast , love use when travelling (yes, i'm having holiday off) instead of regular tv. concern contacted google (and trying figure out code create solution for) connecting mine hotel network. usually, hotel networks need login server site redirect there can approve you're hotel guest, , chromecasts don't support (if uses chromecast, he'll know mean). anyway, bring wifi range extender (tp-link) supports types of networks (login networks) can connect chromecast securely locked network home's network, , works&nbsp;fine that. time around, though, forgot it. figured way go , try troubleshoot use mobile hotspot computer. when turn on hotspot, works , it's alright. however, moment connect chromecast hotspot, laptop becomes sluggish. touchpad , cursor move @ 10fps 90s, , barely responds, windows 10 slow when happens, , there no way can normal except disconnect chromecast. figured out may trash in there, ran ccleaner professional , freed 687mb of trash (or so). after still lagged behind. restarted laptop several times nothing happened. figured out it&nbsp;<em>may be</em> outdated specs on outdated pc (a 2015/2014 laptop intel core i3 , 4gb ram, in pixel right now) have ran 3rd party apps made faster , more responsive, , running games on intel hd graphics 3000 (believe or not) in medium (and in games high) quality works smoothly (yes, unless overpower ultra graphics or something) overall translation; it's pretty snappy run hotspot.&nbsp;<strong>so question is:</strong> why turning on hotspot slows down pc (and @ moment device connected it)? it's chromecast, 1 device, , it's not resource-hungry, what's wrong?</p><p>hoping reply asap.

for identify cause of issue, suggest perform clean boot disable non-microsoft services , check if issue persists. steps on how perform clean boot, click here. after troubleshooting, refer to how reset computer start after clean boot troubleshooting found in same article.it seems chromecast uses of computer's memory when connected mobile hotspot, best contact google chromecast support issue.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
