click on program on taskbar , mouse moves off taskbar instantly minimizes. have searched answers answer have gotten turn off tablet mode , don't have option it. use give me half second move cursor on window stop minimizing. lost internet while updated computer , update made worse gives no time. annoying because makes productivity worse have minimize (because stays on desktop background). tried fix before got worse making literally impossible. hate refresh computer 5th time since made because have of files hard tb of files.

volunteers willing issue. usual one.

1. have checked thoroughly malware? if not please and/or ask here methods.

2. issue caused errant startup or other program. check clean boot , helps process of elimination find actual cause.

3. if needed : right click start button - click command prompt (admin) or windows powershell (admin) - enter these commands :

sfc /scannow

note if shows uncorrected errors - continue regardless.

when completes run these :

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

note if shows uncorrected errors - continue regardless.

restart computer. (be sure note spaces in commands)

4. if needed : repair installation allows keep programs , data though redundant backups idea.

btw have seen such weird behavior caused video drivers , audio/sound or other drivers (hopefully clean boot help).

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
