has else had problem connecting suunto gps watch? after latest update, moveslink2, program downloads data suunto ambit 3 peak gps watch surface pro 3 no longer works.
when first plugged watch sp3's usb port after update, rather starting moveslink2 automatically, computer recognized watch "ambit" , did little (like plugging in new thumb drive first time) , nothing. when try start moveslink2 manually, shows in taskbar few seconds, , shuts down on own. tried uninstalling , reinstalling moveslink2, did not help. when plug in watch now, connection sound, , charges watch, that's all. unlike garmins, watch never appeared drive under computer. still doesn't, can't copy files way.
i'm resorting using old laptop has windows 7 download data watch. have tip on how make moveslink2 work on computer? i've reported problem through feedback hub, i'm not sure through can fix things.
while i'm here, i'll report older problem moveslink2 , surface pro 3 started on year ago after update. after hibernation, moveslink2 doesn't start on it's own when watch plugged it. if moveslink2 started manually, not recognize watch. instead computer needs full restart before work normally. problem has persisted since spring 2016. windows bug? or suunto should fixing?
a workaround solved problem:
1. disconnect net connection
2. start moveslink2 manually
3. connet suunto device
4. connect net connectiion back
and @ least ambit connected movescount.
got advice suunto support today. working solve issue.
