Resolution Issues Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

hi,

in attempt improve laptop performance, ran registry cleaning program , bloatware removal program. same time latest windows update installed. not sure of these actions caused issue, fonts in ms products (ms word, windows explorer, , ms excel) lower quality (you can see broken lines in characters instead of smooth lines before). have done following try fix issue:

1) reset windows

2) reinstalled ms office

3) ran intel drivers assistant shows no issues graphics driver.

btw, font in message looks perfect on screen of laptop. also, websites visit still fine. appears issue microsoft programs.

the laptop running better though (no longer going 100% on drive in task manager due background processes running.

any rrecommendations appreciated!

sounds me it:

  1. type "appearance" taskbar search box
  2. choose "adjust appearance , performance of windows"
  3. turn on "let windows choose..." circle , click ok
  4. restart computer

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
