been running dual monitors on new dell 3 months.  leave afternoon, both working fine.  come 2 hours later, , both screens blank.  had restart several times, got install latest updates, went device manager , updated drivers on graphics card.  no joy. when plug in hdmi cable, defaults dual monitor setting, primary monitor black.  (yep, power on , correct input selected).  so, computer sees second monitor, there no display.   is monitor issue?  bad cable?  suggestions welcome.  thanks.  on monitor working right click on desktop.  go display settings , set monitors. on wednesday november 1, 2017 received message saying windows wanted download , install upgrade pc. allowed download , upgrade proceed. takes me 2 attempts log in computer's desktop. first attempt takes me sign in page. second attempt allows me log in , use pc. else having same problem? tried contacting microsoft support via online chat, microsoft agent in contact apparently not fluent in english. took more 15 minutes before knew problem referring to. @ point gave up. ideas or suggestions? running windows 10, 64 bit intel i3 processor. hello, a possible reason why you're being asked login twice due incorrect settings configuration. found thread similar concern. see answer of paulsey... on link , follow on-screen instructions provided. let know happens after.
