2 identical make/brand monitors and I cannot change to extended - Microsoft Community

hi there - have been looking answer online question (without luck):

i got identical twin of monitor , use hmdi splitter new monitor working. used before other smaller monitor , worked fine , set automatically.

now duplicating monitor 1 without chance of changing when pressing win key + p.

i checked device manager , found new twin monitor under "show hidden devices". have no option rename make windows recognize second device -- do?

i'm @ total loss here , need different contents displayed on each of monitors.

hi,

the graphics card had nothing because can handle. resolved problem using anoth method different cable type connecting monitor 2 not viahmdi dvi adapter hdmi output on monitor dvi input on pc.

this idea came in sleep on night swear. watch out getting male type dvi side 😀just had think through. , dvi hi res hd plus!

have simple wireless mouse , has worked fine in past sudden freezes when ever move it working fije second after stops in place , moves , , fustrating have deleted device manager deleted drivers rolled previous driver , removed settings , still lags , stops in place fix's? hi david, since you've reinstalled , rolled mouse driver, possible sensor of mouse broken. have tried using mouse on other pcs no problem? we'll looking forward reply. regards.
