hello, i have hp spectre x360 running windows 10 home (v 1703, os build 15063.632). built-in webcam hp truevision fhd rgb-ir.  problem i'm experiencing webcam seems working apps (youcam , zoom) while not working windows native apps (camera app , skype). when open camera or skype, see black screen. however, on apps zoom , youcam, camera works because see live image of myself in app. i've updated driver webcam, , uninstalled , re-installed device. when open skype, light not come on next webcam, indicating guess app not accessing webcam way should be. think it's weird seems problem microsoft software. i'm not sure other information helpful provide resolve problem i'm having, if has guesses might try squared away, awesome. thanks! drew - have worked through steps here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13753/windows-10-can-not-find-or-start-the-camera , here: https://blogs.technet...

pendrive long time. pendrive not shown in computer. might problem pendrive? hi, it's odd computer not recognize pen drive when showing before. however, let isolate concern providing these information: does computer reads pen drive? does pen drive works in other computer? were there changes made computer? when last time used pen drive? we're looking forward response. insert usb , tells me need format disk. have been googling day , have not been able fix problem. hi kathy, the error need format disk in drive before can use it may possibly occur when external drive removed without using safely remove hardware option. isolate issue, we'd gather more information: have made recent changes prior issue? have tried connecting usb laptop/computer/usb port , check if issue still persists? what troubleshooting steps have done far? we're looking forward response.
