Windows update changed resolution on HP2009m monitor - Microsoft Community

update installed , hp 2009m monitor not working did before. i’ve lost preferred resolution option

hi cathy, display driver need rolling . . . windows update has lately been installing incorrect display drivers . . .

open device manager (accessible right clicking start button)
expand display adapters section
right click graphics card, choose properties
on driver tab, click 'roll driver'

close device manager , restart system


if rollback option greyed out:

right click on display adapter, click 'uninstall device'
choose 'delete driver software device' click 'uninstall'
restart computer (myst restart, not shut down)
windows download correct driver

have simple wireless mouse , has worked fine in past sudden freezes when ever move it working fije second after stops in place , moves , , fustrating have deleted device manager deleted drivers rolled previous driver , removed settings , still lags , stops in place fix's? hi david, since you've reinstalled , rolled mouse driver, possible sensor of mouse broken. have tried using mouse on other pcs no problem? we'll looking forward reply. regards.
