help!   my dell xps laptop did windows 10 fall creators update.   following update, when try login local account (standard user), login succeeds, windows displays lock screen.   this occurs within 1 second of logging in.   if double click lock screen, login screen displays , when enter password can again momentarily see desktop , windows puts lock screen again.  no matter how many times try login, windows displays lock screen. i tried backup previous version of windows, both system restore , recovery previous version fail remove fall creators update. in case, workaround can access previous files folder c:\users\account name\ can copy important files newly created user account. since newly created user account has same privilege corrupted user profile. may delete old 1 once have transferred files new user account , use new user profile. let know if need further assistance. ...
