Fonts look strange after update - See image; I don't know how - Microsoft Community

i updated fall creator update today. since update, fonts on computer (across programs) funny. guess what's going on way computer (or monitor? or graphics card? dunno...) processing pixels make letters have changed... it's blurring  / smudging / combining pixels in strange way. i'm including screenshot show letters.

use window's magnifier feature, change particularly noticeable me. no, not before update. letters pixelated, not wavy this. 

has been feature change in way fonts displayed? there way go old way?

during windows 10 fall creators update, display driver have been changed. usually, device video card requires software driver operating system recognize it. recommend install appropriate driver display adapter work on windows 10 fall creators update. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type device manager , press enter.
  2. click on display adapters tree expand.
  3. look name of display adapter, right-click select properties.
  4. click on driver tab, roll driver button, , click on it.
  5. restart computer changes take effect , check if issue persists.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
