hi

i happily streaming media tv via tv box, until sky decided "update" firmware , throw out plex app. bought ehomemediacentre set top box running android os , built around (allegedly) rock-chips quad core processor. may dumb (but 2 hours answer desk didn't 1 bit) how connect? need additional software or drivers. can see pc on list of file explorer on tv no matter combination try in terms of user name , password (microsoft answer desk failed miserably in confirming user name - name? email address? etc., etc. on 2 hours).

i have checked far can there no firewall issue , of files set share. can ping device cannot connect. expected see folder, expand it, , in case of video or music play it. 

i hear has 1 of these devices , running windows 10 pro 64 bit , has logged on , transferred/played media (video, music photographs).

  • are getting error message when try connect set top box pc?
  • if possible, please send screenshot or picture of screen issue happening.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
