Runtimebroker DCOM server appears twice - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have noticed have 2 dcom servers named runtimebroker having 2 different appids pointing same runtimebroker.exe  :

hkey_local_machine\software\classes\appid\{15c20b67-12e7-4bb6-92bb-7aff07997402}

hkey_local_machine\software\classes\clsid\{2593f8b9-4eaf-457c-b68a-50f6b8ea6b54}

and

hkey_local_machine\software\classes\appid\{9ca88ee3-acb7-47c8-afc4-ab702511c276}

hkey_local_machine\software\classes\clsid\{d63b10c5-bb46-4990-a94f-e40b9d520160}

which 1 ?

had same thing happen. noticed no 1 responded you, , i'm not sure deal this, notice have several duplicate dcom entries.

i'm not sure if it's since installing creators update or what. however, stands reason if both point same runtimebroker.exe (c:\windows\system32\runtimebroker.exe), isn't problem worry about. if start having dcom errors (event 10016 in event log), may have apply registry permissions fixes new dcom entry.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
