wireless network adapter gone missing in dell vostro 3558 - Microsoft Community

after having regular update of windows 10 encounter problem wifi. there no wifi option in laptop vostro 3558 nor in device manager . if restart laptop onw or 2 times problem gets solved not long time . tryed install wireless adapter dell official website recommended vostro 3558(network_driver_mvh6c_wn32_18.40.0.9_a06_04). unable installed driver shows "the software packagr cannot installed on sysrem" " . don't have intel proset/wireless software(v.18.40.0.)

.i also  tried installed wifi adapter intel official official website does't  work. pleas help

based on details have shared, there's possibility compatibility issue due latest update. investigate , determine proper solution concern, we'd ask additional information. please answer following:

  • what specific update have installed prior issue? check, go settings app > click update & security > go windows update tab > click the update history link.
  • what build , version of windows 10 using?
  • aside installing updates, have made changes pc before issue occurred?

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
