LifeCam Studio - I need camera controls, etc - Microsoft Community

just purchased lifecam studio because camtasia expert recommended it.  it work camtasia, , skype, in win 10 cannot bring control panel camera.  this means cannot find dialogue box focus, lighting, or else.

is there not standalone dialogue or control box camera?

hi,

the microsoft lifecam studio enables control of settings of webcam. however, while camera on, controls exposure , timer, webcam adjusts focus automatically default, if opt change settings, can take control of device , adjust manually.

to that, follow these easy steps:

  1. launch microsoft lifecam software , click arrow @ right of lifecam window open dashboard.
  2. click "gear" icon switch settings tab , disable "truecolor" clearing check box.
  3. click "properties" button view webcam's advanced settings.
  4. click "camera control" tab, deselect "auto" option next "focus" , click "apply."
  5. move "focus" slider change focus of lifecam manually. moving slider right makes camera focus on objects closer lens, while moving slider left forces camera focus on objects farther away.
  6. click "ok" apply new settings , close properties window.

note focus controls available on lifecam models.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
