Bluetooth not working on Surface Pro 4 after recent Windows 10 update - Microsoft Community

okay chronological occurrences , status given in order below:

- regular windows 10 update on surface pro 4 yesterday (july 24, 2017)

- noticed bluetooth option action center has gone missing. take no further action @ point.

- tried connect microsoft arc touch bluetooth mouse doesn't work.

- ask cortana activate bluetooth , responds saying active; there still no response mouse.

- go bluetooth & other devices tab in settings see what's , if needed remove , reinstall bluetooth devices. here first noticed not saying bluetooth turned off on surface pen , arc touch mouse (no change surface type cover), option remove devices not available (but available on surface cover).

- ran troubleshooter bluetooth, have response "device not have bluetooth";

so,

basically after update, bluetooth no longer working/available on surface. (quite remarkable update takes away bluetooth functionality device).

anyway,

has else had problem?

if so, how did resolve it? did roll update? or there other way?

any or advice regarding highly appreciated.

on surface pro 2017, discovered bluetooth action button went missing well.  disconnecting surface surface pro 4 dock , rebooting brought action button along ability turn on/off bluetooth.  before disconnecting, bluetooth devices ghosted in device manager.
