windows 10 update & wireless mouse - Microsoft Community

i ran latest windows 10 update have finish & not have wireless mouse i've used last few years work @ all.  when try connect, can't find longer.  ideas on how remedy problem?  use hp touchsmart 300 basic hp wireless mouse.

right click start button open device manager, select mouse, it's status?

on driver tab see if roll button available , try first. if not, try uninstall, click ok. press ctrl alt del keys on keyboard, on blue screen tab power icon in bottom right corner, press enter. arrow down restart, press enter. restart , reinstall driver.

mouse work now? if not work on other pc? mouse work on pc?

if caused windows updates can check installed @ settings>update & security>windows update under installed updates, uninstall them link there, , hide hide updates tool downloaded here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f2...

if fall creators update version 1709, can check @ settings>system>about, can roll @ settings>update & security>recovery, hide using same tool above until matures.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
