Laptop slow down - Microsoft Community

laptop use more disk usage max 100% when i'm check on task manager. i'm find out service called service host; local system used more disk on it. how i'm fix it. make laptop slow down. i'm using window 10. 

after performing steps above, know if there changes disk consumption service host: local system from task manager. still same before?

if issue persists, suggest perform these methods:

method 1: troubleshoot windows update. windows update said 1 of causes abnormally high cpu, or disk usage. can run troubleshooter see if it’s culprit.

1. open control panel.
2. click on system , security.
3. click on security , maintenance.
4. click on troubleshooting.
5. on left pane, click on view all.
6. look windows update from list, , click on it.
7. click on next.
8. select try troubleshooting as administrator.
9. restart computer.

method 2: update available drivers.

method 3: disable services.

1. right-click on taskbar @ bottom of desktop.
2. select task manager.
3. click arrow button of category service host: local system. see more items hogging cpu usage.
4. click , select 1 of items under category, click on end task button. repeat step every item under category service host: local system. observe change of cpu usage. if can locate culprit, follow next steps disable in services.
5. right-click item suspect culprit , click on open services.
6. locate service same name can see in task manager. right-click on select stop.
