BSOD when playing video games - After Fall creator Update - Microsoft Community

hi,

i'm having major issues while playing games on hp laptop.

my laptop integrated intelhd graphic , nvidia 840m, , since i've updated fall creator update, i'm having issues on varied video games after 20-30 min of playing or earlier , @ random,

here's i've done / found far:

-the bsod doesnt come games, i've tried 4 différent of them, appears 3d games have small tearing, still having it;

-the bsod comes after small video tearing, screen freezes, sound , rest of computer runs fine 5 sec before crashing entirely, doing skype call , still hear voice speaker.

-the bsod appears in 3d rendering, i'm not having issue intel

-updating or changing nvidia display driver doesnt change far

-rolling update solved solution update reinstalled , problem here again, not solution when deletes installed after update.

-i'm having issue when avg antivirus deactivated

-i uninstalled daemon tools pro, didnt changed 

-the bsod appears 1 time out of 4, , in-game, in of case once computer been rebooted problem gone temporarly

-no result after sfc scannow

-not related internal temperature, did stress test 1h30 , laptop stayed @ same temperature not on ~72°c

-the bsod has 2 or 3 different title "video_tdr_failure" or "unexpected_kernel_mode_trap"

-after blue screen log file check here's have:

     bug check code: 0x00000116

     bug check string: video_tdr_error

i havent try reinstall direct x 10 dont think can..., 

my first conclusion far there problem between nvidia driver , latest direct x , needs updated i'm not sure, might related different new programs "xbox game boost thing" or other programs.

i dont know now.

btw dont ask me kind of reset on laptop because have way many data , programs work wont option, , wont solve (probably) erase problem not solve it.

edit: checked on dxdiag , both nvidia , intel here, , there intel hd graphic, might related?

conflicts display driver after update 1 of possible reasons why having blue screen error bug check code: 0x00000116. since have tried rollback driver , resolved issue, suggest temporarily prevent driver update reinstalling in windows 10. this, need download "show or hide updates" troubleshooter that can found in link, , follow instruction hide problematic driver update.

should need further assistance, don't hesitate us.
