make , model of computer?
have done far troubleshoot problem?
how long has been happening?
version of windows 10 installed: 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709?
version of windows did upgrade from?
if system start, try following recommendations.
computers firmware, deals things power management, related sleep needs updated. remember, issue experiencing here outside of windows, not resuming sleep. windows in saved state on hard disk , can't manage hardware resources, thats left firmware (your bios) handle. so, obvious more hardware issue software, updated driver software can fix it.
suggest need update chipset drivers , bios.
recommend update critical ones: bios, chipset, display driver, network adapters.
if not work, recommend try 2 things
first: boot windows 10 desktop
press windows key + x
click device manager
expand batteries
right-click microsoft acpi-compliant system.
choose update driver software.
make sure connected internet, check updates.
when complete, restart check if can sleep , wake.
second option
uninstall display driver restart
boot windows 10 desktop
press windows key + x
click device manager
expand display adapters
right click current display adapter
click uninstall
exit device manager
restart
