Ethernet driver issues after latest windows 10 update - Microsoft Community


there windows update week ago after i'm experiencing issues connecting internet. edge works i'm unable access internet using other apps windows store, mail , i'm not able set alternate sign-in options says 'network not available'. windows update states i'm missing updates, fails update due similar reasons.

os: windows 10 pro v1703.

ethernet adapter: realtek pcie gbe family controller

in properties of same, however, gives following-

device pci\ven_10ec&dev_8168&subsys_79711462&rev_15\4&9c6a22d&0&00eb requires further installation.

ps: i've tried resetting os problems persist.

a network driver incompatibility may cause issue after installing windows update. answering following questions may in resolving issue.

  1. have tried checking if have latest network drivers?
  2. aside windows update, there other changes made on computer?
  3. have tried running network troubleshooter?
  4. what exact error message or code getting?
  5. what troubleshooting steps have performed?
