i being told usb 3.0 backwards compatable 2.0 on 1 site , it's not always

on other sites. new printer using usb3.0 socket , it's saying it's no because needs usb2.0 socket. does

anyone know going on problem.?

can still use usb 3.0 on usb 2.0 ports, won't able maximize transfer rates of usb 3.0. since issue printer connecting windows 10 computer, suggest try connect printer different computer same usb port on computer see if it's working. if not, you'll need contact manufacturer of printer can check if printer compatible usb 3.0 socket or usb 2.0 socket.
