i purchased surface book , first day got many inconveniences updates, , specially front ir camera seems doesn,t work, trying update driver seems impossible.

showed : status_device_power_failure ( error code 10)

went microsoft center , told me know problem many customers , can wait official update can fix microsoft.\do have idea when this?

seems quite incredible new laptop quality must got problems that.

i should mention second book in hands first 1 got problem , battery unable charge ( tried update windows 10 1709) returned , got new one.

a corrupted driver 1 of possible causes why you're getting error message: status_device_power_failure ( error code 10). can tell current build of computer?

since have tried update driver, can recommend uninstall , reinstall camera driver , run device manager troubleshooter. follow these steps:

  1. open device manager, right-click (or tap , hold) the name of device, , select uninstall. restart pc , windows attempt reinstall driver.
  2. run device manager troubleshooter. here's link.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
