Automatic restarting - Microsoft Community

in hp notebook, i've turned settings maximize performance because notebook slow multitasking. turns off , on again without notice or warnings. should do?

let's narrow down first.  2 questions:

  1. does unexpected restarts continue if put old settings?
  2. what settings it?
