BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (L1C63x64.sys) on Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

i getting bsod 2 consecutive days same error code "irql_not_less_or_equal" caused by l1c63x64.sys, driver for

"qualcomm atheros ar8171/8175 pci-e gigabit ethernet controller (ndis 6.30)".

current driver version in laptop 2.1.0.21. tried find newer driver in asus website ([1], [2]) , other online sources, can find same version of driver (2.1.0.21) "windows 8.1"! can't find 1 made windows 10.

any other way mitigate this? can use ethernet in places (in other places use wifi), disabling driver not option.

you delete .pdb files , leave .inf .cat , .sys files.

to install driver open device manager , right-click qualcomm atheros ar8171/8175  > update driver > browse computer driver software > let me pick list of device drivers on computer > have disk > "browse" , then click on the netl1c63x64.inf  > ok

continue installation , restart computer.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
