corrupt profile - Microsoft Community

on vista home premium computer, 1 login has slow keyboard response.  takes 3-4 seconds of holding key down response, or keyboard repeat.  other logins work fine.  mouse works fine.  problem effects everything, atfter loging in.  cant open startmenu, type document, use keyboard shortcut, adjust keybord properties, nothing.  how fix this? 

first thing i'd block auto-start items in bad profile (follow step #1 under fix sluggish, slow pc).  if fails, fastest path create profile , drag-drop files it, delete broken 1 later.  if you're not keen on doing that, there's other options outlined under repair pc problems.
