WiFi randomly loses connection, briefly turns off while attempting to - Microsoft Community

hello everyone,
hope can me following problem.
use wifi internet @ work, router zexel, keenetic extra, @ home (tp-link, don't remember exact model). computer acer aspire v3-571 x64, on win8 later upgraded - win10 (creators fall edition @ moment, problem existed since previous win10 version well). antivirus windows defender, provides firewall, no other antivirus installed. use qualcomm atheros ar5bwb222 wireless network adapter, ver 3.0.2.201, have tried version 10.0.0.236 no success.
the problem itself: sometimes, while internet working fine, randomly loses internet connection or changes status limited connection. when try reconnect (through bottom right corner, via wifi icon) work's network following happens: connection establishes, 'checking network requirements', above 'network , internet parameters' button briefly gone (at same time - device manager 'resets', twice; in 'network connections' wireless connection appears briefly turned off on again), reappears again , few seconds later informs me connection failed. can rinse , repeat way forever. similar behavior @ home other router.
helps - laptop restart helps, closing , opening laptop via screen (cover) helps well. however, when closing , opening cover find no ethernet option in 'network connections', refreshing device configuration doesn't find in device manager (i don't use ethernet though).
doesn't - network diagnostics tool doesn't (says proxy settings doesn't fix problem), turning wifi adapter off doesn't, unchecking 'automatically connect network' doesn't, driver update (as mentioned above) doesn't.
when , how did happen - no idea certain. doesn't happen everyday, laptop stays connected network. suspect go wrong when windows asked me not turn power off during windows update process , laptop ran out of battery (which problem - laptop loses power without low battery notification sometimes, that's story). there 100% no problem while had win8.1 , win8, long time ago. @ beginning of using win10 (for half year think, not sure exact dates) didn't experience problem.
if has idea on what's going on pc, why closing laptop's cover helping, or how fix behavior - advice appreciated.
thank reading this,
best regards,
