WiFi list/menu is bugged - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have problem wifi tool/menu, 1 shows available wifi networks , opens clicking on wifi icon in taskbar.

every time try connect network, tries connect , disable (like if disable wifi), re-enable itself. shows "sorry unable connect network", , list of available networks goes 15-16 networks 2 or 3. need enable airplane mode few seconds , enable again refresh wifi. 2 or 3 times every time open laptop.

sometimes, when it's connected , open menu, show "no internet, secured" , no other networks available though connected.

to resume : wifi menu buggy , takes 5 or 6 minutes connect me network instead of automatically connect every time open pc.

i have windows 10 latest version, 64 bits. try updates can.

i have asus premium series r510jx (laptop).

i had buggy list few months now.

thanks in advance help. feel free ask me clarifications.

hello,

one of possible reasons why wifi keeps on dropping due driver failure. recommend update drivers, follow steps below:

step 1:

  1. right-click wifi icon on task bar > click open network , sharing center.
  2. click change adapter settings > right-click wifi adapter > select properties.
  3. hit configure > go power management tab > uncheck box allow computer turn off device save power.
  4. click ok.

step 2:

  1. press windows key + x > select device manager.
  2. expand network adapters > right-click wireless network adapter driver > click update driver.
  3. follow on-screen instructions > restart pc.

keep posted results.
