Uninstalled USB 3.0 Root Hub and Keyboard and Mouse don’t work. - Microsoft Community

my printer wasn’t working today , error message told me usb composite device older usb device , might not work usb 3.0

i found article telling me should unintall , re-install te usb 3.0 root hub. after did this, laptop keyboard , usb mouse not work.

how can re-install driver , regain use of computer/mouse/keyboard? if possible, there way can without losing information on computer?

i’m not familiar indepth computer wording, if walk me through possible, grateful.

i’m running windows 10 on toshiba satellite laptop.

  • have tried using device usb 2.0?
  • have checked firmware or check if updated?
