the headphones used work laptop before creators update playing sound in 1 ear only. i've checked headphone plugging in other devices , there's no such issue. plugged other headphones laptop, no luck.

i'm using win 10 in yoga 2 pro , headphones use akg samsung s8 , apple earpods.

the error headphones not working on windows device can related incompatible driver. eliminate error, suggest update driver following these steps:

  1. type device manager in search box.
  2. press enter.
  3. click drop-down arrow sound, video , game controllers view driver.
  4. right-click installed sound driver , select properties.
  5. click driver tab.
  6. select update driver update sound driver.
  7. if driver updated, can reinstall existing driver repeating steps 1 to 5.
  8. this time, select uninstall.
  9. after uninstalling driver, restart device automatically reinstall driver.

once you're done, test headphones , check if encounter same error.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
