My sound doesn't work for my PC and i have tried everything to fix - Microsoft Community

my pc windows 10 , 64x bit , tried fix sound problem. did in troubleshooting, device manager, services, , updating drivers. red "x" on sound icon , when go playback devices says no audio devices installed. made sure windows audio , windows audio endpoint builder restarted , automatically running in services. tried uninstalling speakers(2- high definition audio device) device manager. restarted pc couple of times. troubleshooting not automatically fix me tells me there problem audio.

i not know anymore im getting frustrated , tried every thread online , worked on trying fix day.

the red x volume icon appears in windows 10 when either have hardware issue , speakers not working or in of cases there software malfunction after update of operating system due fact not drivers had compatible new windows 10 operating system newly installed on device.

updating drivers manually make take time, recommend download latest software update. thus, prevent file loss , permanent damage computer. perform task, follow steps provided andre da costa on link.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
