Windows 10 Login Screen Missing - Microsoft Community

after powering on, or waking sleep, dell laptop not showing login screen. shows following background (see pic) time in lower left corner. upon clicking, or swiping mouse up, or scrolling, scrolls screen io display mothing other background , 3 icons in lower right: internet connection (it connecting our wifi), accessability options, , power. 

cntrl+alt+delete nothing. scrolling or clicking nothing. rebooting makes no changes. can bring blue troubleshooting screen (recovery environment?) , have tried booting in safe mode here, again - brings same login problem. 

help??

have wait few minutes before log on credentials happens. happens when boot or resume hibernation. background apps or loading , need wait.

can try rebooting in safe mode, disable startup programs:

hold down shift key on keyboard while clicking power button on screen.
continue hold down shift key while clicking restart.
continue hold down shift key until advanced recovery options menu appears.
click troubleshoot
click advanced options
click startup settings
click restart
press (4) enable safe mode
wait while windows 10 starts in safe mode.
log in

press windows key + x
click task manager
click startup tab
disable startup apps

reboot in normal mode.

have simple wireless mouse , has worked fine in past sudden freezes when ever move it working fije second after stops in place , moves , , fustrating have deleted device manager deleted drivers rolled previous driver , removed settings , still lags , stops in place fix's? hi david, since you've reinstalled , rolled mouse driver, possible sensor of mouse broken. have tried using mouse on other pcs no problem? we'll looking forward reply. regards.
