Windows 10 ASUS, blank screen when waking up - Microsoft Community

computer works fine , goes sleep fine, on attempted restart, laptop fires up, beeps, screen stays black. results in thing can hold power button restart, in computer turns on fine. has happened every single day past few weeks, not sure has caused it. such waste of time have every single morning.  ive tried of suggested fixes none seem work. cannot update or roll of graphic drivers.

please help.

i have asus x555uj, intel hd graphics 520 , nvidia geforce 920m

bought brand new approx march 2016 local pc shop, have had no other troubles it. windows 10 pre-installed.

has had mcafee, not removal tool.

windows version 1703 (os build 15063.726)

have tried following:

fiddling sleep time settings, , disabling hibernation.

disabling imei driver

have attempted update drivers no luck. cannot roll either.

please answer of following [admittedly tedious] diagnostic questions number, preferably without quoting post:

1a. when (approx. date) did purchase asus computer?

1b. or whom did purchase computer?

1c. computer sold brand-new, never-been-used-by-anyone-else computer or used (refurbished) computer?

2. did computer come win10 preinstalled, did clean install of win10, or did upgrade win7 computer or win8.1 computer [<=pick one!] win10?

3. has norton application or mcafee application ever been installed on computer since bought it?

4. have ever run norton removal tool and/or mcafee consumer products removal tool?

5. version & os build of windows 10 installed?

• press & hold windows key , press r key. in run dialog, type winver , press enter key.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
