Update KB4038788 and Realtek digital output - Microsoft Community

after installing the kb4038788 update, found had no audio output realtek digital output, routed via optical cable amplifier. noticed device manager says "device not migrated". updated realtek driver, has made no difference.

also since installing update, cakwalk sonar platinum crashes on launch. 

kb4038788 being reported 'botched'. of these you? , there more!!!!
