printer error & network security - Microsoft Community

having hp printer issues occasionally. error while printing , print job start on - sometime spitting sheet out random symbols. spoke hewlett packard , stated issue network security. printer connected via usb hub connected laptop. printer not connected wireless. printer has been hooked on year , problem has been around 3 months

what steps need take see issue , correct this. have tried call microsoft , quite tired of messing automated system never being able reach talking person
