Intel(R) 82579V gigabit connector adaptor driver fault .will - Microsoft Community


hi , on start acer aspire x3990 ,pc running windows 10 not connect internet , fault finding says intel(r) 82579v gigabit connector adaptor driver fault . on restarting pc  it connects internet . have upgraded driver still same problem. have restart pc twice. run windows update regularly . on restart device manager says  intel(r) 82579v gigabit connector adaptor , status , device working properly.

outdated drivers can cause issues connecting internet automatically. address concern, need isolate issue few questions:

  • when did start happening?
  • were there changes made computer settings prior issue?
  • when updated network adapter, did latest drivers directly manufacturer's website?

meanwhile, can refer article has troubleshooting steps internet connection issues. if you're going try update network adapter again, recommend uninstalling first , reinstalling manually. here steps:

  1. download latest network drivers manufacturer’s website.
  2. right-click on start button, select device manager.
  3. double-click on network driver.
  4. go driver tab, click uninstall.
  5. after uninstalling, double-click on network driver again, select update driver under driver tab.
  6. select  browse computer driver software.
  7. click browse, drivers you've downloaded, click ok.
  8. select next, follow steps install driver, click close.
  9. restart computer.
