Bluetooth can not pair without PIN since creators update - Microsoft Community

hi,

since creators update can not longer pair hp premium bluetooth mouse. bluetooth not allow me pair mouse without pin (i can not skip entering pin before). allows me connect headphones without asking pin?

can solved?

hi,

do experience issue when pairing specific mouse? let's try using add personal area network feature pair particular mouse. here's how:

  1. right click bluetooth icon in bottom-right corner of screen, , select add personal area network.
  2. on top-left corner of screen, click add new bluetooth device.
  3. press sync button on mouse , wait device appear. when appears, select , click next.
  4. leave pin text box blank, , click next.
  5. restart computer, , try pairing mouse again.

if issue persists, suggest update device drivers bluetooth mouse driver. if windows doesn't find new driver, can try looking 1 on device manufacturer's website , follow instructions.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
