Everything opens in Full Screen. No regular windows are possible. - Microsoft Community

five days ago, hastily needed use excel spreadsheet inventory.  flipped 3n1 laptop open, triggering full screen on-screen keyboard.  asked permission go tablet mode, , granted.  finished task.

now not release full screen.  opens full screen. 

i have no access to desktop - goes windows groups. 

powerpoint, excel, , other ms office products open automatically full screen.  browsers like internet explorer, chrome both go full screen.  calculator , other apps go full screen. 

on each app, top right 3 buttons displayed, only minimize , close active - not toggle regular window or less full screen. 

app properties show run/normal window.  file explorer , browsers.

use start full screen disabled
have done hard boot.  
have same issue in safe mode.

i have dell inspiron 17, 7000 series, intel core i7 7th gen.

i running windows 10 home version 1703, os build 15063.729

how let go of in full screen?

press windows key +
toggle off tablet mode

or swipe right edge in, tap tablet mode button

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
