Creators update caused network to 'disappear'. - Microsoft Community


using toshiba qosmio laptop windows 10 home. (upgraded 8.1).

after updating windows cu no longer connect internet using wifi.

the computer no longer sees network @ all.

plugging in ethernet cable @ least gets me on-line.

i've updated intel drivers using own tool.

dns flushed.

uninstalled , reinstalled on-board intel wireless n-7260.

tried wifi dongle no success.

the router working fine windows 7 computer on same network friend's smart phone.

any suggestions please?

  • which update installed on computer? kb4034674 or kb4032188?
  • have tried install latest driver manufacturer's website?
  • did specific error message?
  • can check other user account if same issue persists?

meanwhile, kindly update network adapter driver. here's how:

  1. in search box on taskbar, type device manager, , select device manager from list of results.
  2. in device manager, select network adapters > network adapter name.
  3. press , hold (or right-click) the network adapter, , select update driver > search automatically updated driver software. follow steps, select close.
  4. after installing updated driver, kindly restart device.

if computer can’t find new driver network adapter, kindly visit pc manufacturer’s website , download latest network adapter driver.
